To complement the various different healthcare activities which are OSA's primary concern, the Cooperative has added more social and assistance services targeting marginalised young people, elderly people living alone and the disabled. OSA also conducts social and healthcare information and prevention campaigns.

In 2001 and then in 2006 OSA obtained accreditation in a number of Municipalities in the City of Rome and was added to the Sole Accreditation Registry.
