For the second consecutive year, the Cooperative supports the activity of the basketball team in wheelchair \u2018 \u2018OSA I Ragazzi di Panormus<\/strong>\u2019, a Palermo club playing in the FIPIC Serie B championship and in the youth championship reserved for the Under 16 category.<\/p>\n

A project that combines sport, solidarity and integration and that stems from the desire of Nicola Arrisicato, 15 years old assisted by the ADI service<\/strong> that OSA provides in Palermo, to play a basketball championship with his friends<\/strong> and that today is also able to guarantee various players to the national basketball teams in wheelchairs. Of particular importance was the convening of the 15-year-old athlete Cristian Gandolfo in the Under 22 national team in 2019 who won a silver medal at the European Para Youth Games in Finland. Christian\u2019s sporting success was crowned with the emotion of a ceremony in the Hall of Mirrors of the Quirinal with the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, together with a large representation of Italian athletes returning from prestigious international events.<\/p>\n

Of particular importance was the convening of the 15-year-old athlete Cristian Gandolfo<\/strong> in the Under 22 national team<\/strong> in 2019 who won a silver medal<\/strong> at the European Para Youth Games<\/strong> in Finland.<\/p>\n
